Welcome to my blog! I’m Fiona and I’m a fresh graduate with a keen eye for finance (helped by my degree in financing and accounting). It may sound odd, and possibly quite boring, but I LOVE finance and numbers, it is genuinely my passion. I have so many ideas about how people can live and be financially healthy and how to make wise decisions. I love coming up with things like that.
I always felt like I needed to share all these great ideas with the world, my personal Twitter and ranting and raving to my friends can only get me so far! So I set up 50 Dollars. This blog is offering anyone and everyone tips and advice on how to be financially sound. From small business owners to families to students (especially students – I’ve been there!), we can also use a helpful bit of information to help us along the way and a bit of advice on how to make the most of what you’ve got. I can do that!

I’m not going to get too much into my personal life, I know a lot of you don’t care but it’s nice to know there’s a real person behind these words you read! Like I said, I’m a recent graduate and my degree is in financing and accounting. I grew up in a small village in the middle of nowhere but now I live in a big city. Life is very different for me now but I’m enjoying being a young professional and living my best life! I love my reptiles (I have three snakes, two lizards and two axolotls) and my mum is my best friend.
